Winthrop Development Consultants is pleased to announce that updated builds for GP Power Tools, Batch Posting Service Toolkit and the free Visual Studio Integration Toolkit are now available.
Please note that these builds are required to ensure that the products remain registered after 01-Jul-2018. All customers will need to update their systems before their current subscriptions expire to avoid interruptions to their registrations. Install over the top of the existing builds, no need to uninstall.
You may have seen that Winthrop Development Consultants will distribute all of its products directly from 01-Jul-2018. To facilitate this change, the new builds of all Winthrop products will automatically switch over to use Winthrop’s registration server on 01-Jul-2018.
After 01-Jul-2018, Mekorma’s registration server will no longer issue keys for Winthrop products. To obtain keys for Winthrop products, they must connect to Winthrop’s registration server.
Older installed builds of the products will stay registered until their subscription expires.
However, once expired, the old builds will be unable to be registered again, even if the renewal has been paid, as they will be pointing to the wrong registration server.
At this time the only solution will be to install the latest builds which point to the correct server.
If you install the new builds before the subscription expires, the transition will be seamless as the software will automatically change over between registration servers when requesting keys after 01-Jul-2018.
The new builds for the products are available for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010, 2013, 2015, 2016 & 2018:
