Winthrop Development Consultants is pleased to announce Build 15 of Batch Posting Service Toolkit (BPST) for Microsoft Dynamics GP was released on 20-Jun-2025.

This build adds the ability to post Computer Payments/Checks/Cheques batches that are ready to be posted. There are also enhancements to the table update processing and general maintenance fixes.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: After the release of build 15, support for build 12 will be discontinued at the start of August 2025. Support for build 11 and earlier has already been discontinued. The final released build for each version of Microsoft Dynamics GP will not be discontinued. Sites running discontinued builds need to update before their subscriptions can be renewed. It is recommended that ALL sites update to the latest build to take advantage of the new features, enhancements and fixes.

Build 15 of Batch Posting Service Toolkit is available for the following Microsoft Dynamics GP versions:

• Microsoft Dynamics GP Modern Lifecycle (v18.2)
• Microsoft Dynamics GP Modern Lifecycle (v18.3)
• Microsoft Dynamics GP Modern Lifecycle (v18.4)
• Microsoft Dynamics GP Modern Lifecycle (v18.5)
• Microsoft Dynamics GP Modern Lifecycle (v18.6)
• Microsoft Dynamics GP Modern Lifecycle (v18.7)

Adding Posting of Computer Payments

Added for Build 15, there is now support for posting of Computer Payments batches that are ready to be posted.

Support for Computer Payments/Checks/Cheques batches, with a Batch Source of XPM_Cchecks, has been added to the following Service Based Architecture (SBA) calls:

• ServiceCreateBatch
• ServiceGetBatch
• ServiceUpdateBatch
• ServiceDeleteBatch
• ServiceGetBatchList
• ServicePostBatch

The ServiceCreateBatch and ServicePostBatch testing forms have also been updated to support Computer Payment batches.

Batch Maintenance

The following fixes have been added to the batch maintenance service procedures:

• Added Workflow Status value when creating a new batch with ServiceCreateBatch for Batch types using Workflow.
• Fixed bug in ServiceUpdateBatch which would generate a cannot change Batch Source or Batch Number error.

Other Enhancements

For a detailed change log, look at the PostServ.txt file which is also installed with Batch Posting Service Toolkit into the Microsoft Dynamics GP application folder. To see the updated documentation, look at the user guide which is also installed with the product.
