This is a reposting of an article I originally wrote on my Developing for Dynamics GP blog.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Support Debugging Tool is now GP Power Tools from Winthrop Development Consultants (http://winthropdc.com/GPPT)
I admit it. I broke it …. well, just a little bit.
Yesterday, I found out that the XML Table Import window in the Support Debugging Tool was failing to work. It would just say “0 Tables imported”. This issue was caused by the changes to provide the Profile functionality to XML Table Export in build 12.
So, I have fixed the code for all 4 versions of the Support Debugging Tool, and worked with my colleagues in Fargo to get them published to PartnerSource overnight.
If you have downloaded build 12 for v8.0, v9.0, v10.0 or GP 2010 (v11.0) prior to today, 10-Mar-2010, please download the file again to get the updated build. The updated build shows a last modified date of 09-Mar-2010 on the About Support Debugging Tool window.
On the plus side, because I had to re-open the v8.0 code to fix this issue, I have also rolled back the features which were added for GP 2010 into the fixed v8.0 code. So now all versions have the same feature set. However, I will not be developing the v8.0 code further.

For more information, please see the GP Power Tools portal, which replaced the Support Debugging Tool Portal.
Thanks for your support and feedback about the Support Debugging Tool.
