#GPPT GP Power Tools Training at User Group Summit 2019 in Orlando, FL, USA

David Meego - Click for blog homepageI am pleased to announce that there will be GP Power Tools training offered by the GPUG Academy during the training days before User Group Summit 2019 in Orlando, Florida, USA.

We have previously run this training as two half day courses, but it worked best when students attended both the morning and afternoon sessions. So, this year we have decided to run the training as a single full day course on Monday 14th October 2019.

We have lots of new functionality to cover with the releases of Build 26 and Build 27 of GP Power Tools this year.

GPD Pocket 2 7″ Mini Laptop Windows 10 PC

David Meego - Click for blog homepageYou might have seen my posts on Twitter and Facebook recently about my new toy mini laptop PC, the crowd funded GPD Pocket 2.

I have been burnt before with crowd funded projects (I supported 3 smartwatches and only one make it to production and it under-delivered 🙁 ), so I was wary of getting involved again. However, this was the second generation of the GPD Pocket and demo devices had already been delivered to a number of YouTube reviewers. I felt fairly safe to get involved with crowd funding again, as this would give me a discount and get the device earlier.

While smaller than previous years it was still well attended and everyone who was there found it worthwhile, both for the technical knowledge and product information provided as well as for the social and networking opportunities.
