The issue is Integration Manager only imports a few transactions before failing when using the Standard Adapters for some integrations.

One possible cause for this issue was fixed many months ago in GP Power Tools code, but as not all sites keep up to date with their software, it might still be occurring. A recent support case for this issue is the reason for publishing this article.

The Batch Posting Service Toolkit provides service procedures to retrieve a list of Batch Numbers for a specified Batch Source and to post the batch for a specified Batch Source and Batch Number.

Use the tool to post newly integrated transaction batches real time using calls from Dexterity, Visual Studio Tools or as a Service Based Architecture (SBA) Web Service (for v14.0 or later).

A user of the system had made changes to a customer’s credit limit without permission and the financial controller wanted to be notified if this ever happened again.

David Meego - Click for blog homepageWhen Dexterity was first implemented on SQL Server for version 3.15, there was a number of decisions made on how to map the datatypes, fields and tables designed for ISAM platforms such as Ctree and Btrieve/Pervasive SQL to work on SQL Server.

One of the decisions was how to map the individual date and time control types to work with the datetime datatype in SQL Server.

David Meego - Click for blog homepageAt last month’s Microsoft Dynamics GP Technical Conference 2017 in Fargo, North Dakota, USA, Mariano and I presented the session “Yet Another 25 Development Tricks and Hacks in 50 Minutes” with tips 51 to 75.

During this session, we presented a tip on how to control the mouse cursor from Dexterity. When developer, Mark Fuglie tried to use the tip, it did not work for him.

A hotfix for GP Power Tools Build 22 was released on 19-Jun-2017. This release shows as Last Modified: 19-Jun-2017 on the About GP Power Tools window and the installer version is XX.00.0022.7.
