I should clarify that this is life in respect to my work life. As a Developer, IT Professional and Microsoft Dynamics GP Consultant I love anything that makes my job easier.
That’s why I created GP Power Tools (formerly the Support Debugging Tool) in the first place.
Here is a quick bit of help for those of you new to Windows 10 and the Microsoft Edge browser.
I have already had to help a few people through these steps, so I thought I would post them online for others to see and use.
Following on from yesterday’s post: Microsoft Windows 10 is almost here.
Windows 10 is now here and starting to install on PCs that reserved their free upgrade from Windows 7 or Windows 8.1.
It is already the 29th July 2015 in Australia and Windows 10 is almost here.
I know that because it is already downloading into a hidden C:\$Windows.~BT folder onto my machines.
For those of you with Windows Phone 8.1 devices, you should now be comfortable working with Cortana, the personal digital assistant with attitude.
Well, Cortana is coming to Windows 10. In fact, if you have the latest Technical Preview of Windows 10 downloaded (as part of the Windows Insider program) you can already start playing with Cortana. Just make sure all the language and regional settings are set to US.
If you have not heard already, at the recent “Windows 10: The Next Chapter” event, it was announced that Windows 10 will be a free upgrade for all devices running Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 for 12 months after its release.
