With the recent launch of the fourth generation of the Microsoft Surface Pro tablet PC, I thought would be fun to remember back to early days of tablet computing.

Today, I start my flights to the USA for reIMAGINE 2015 in Fargo, ND and GPUG Summit 2015 in Reno, NV. By the time this article posts I will have already left Perth and be coming in to land in Sydney.

I feel a great disturbance in the Thumb. You might remember the movie Kung Pow! Enter The Fist by Steve Oedekek, a parody of B grade martial movies that is funny in its absurdity.
Well, I recently came across an article which highlighted some of Steve’s previous work with his series of thumb parodies of well known movies.

The following mathematical proof suggests that 2 = 1, which would definitely cause some issues with the accounting type people out there.
So the question is:

Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire book series, the show has a reputation for frequent use of nudity, violence, sex and for killing off lead characters in many varied ways.
You have enjoyed the books and TV show and now thanks to Chris Martin and his British band Coldplay, you should soon be able to enjoy Game of Thrones: The Musical.
In recent years when I have come to conferences in the US, I have been bringing a stash of goodies with me.
Usually, this includes Arnott’s Tim Tams and Allen’s Chicos*, which are liked by almost everyone who tries them. And then there is the Aussie Icon, Vegemite.
Last year I posted on my previous blog a funny video article which rang true for me. Well now there is a sequel video which warrants a revisit of the video series.
As someone who has worked in the IT industry for many years with a significant amount of the recent years with a reasonable large corporation that you might have heard of, the videos from Tripp and Tyler are “spot on”.
