Following on from the previous article: PayPal Guest Credit Card payments still not working. I finally received a possible explanation for why my customers cannot pay my invoices using a credit card without logging into PayPal.
Back at the end of July, I had the opportunity to be interviewed by Mark Smith from New Zealand (also known as the nz365guy) for his MVP Show podcast series.

Winthrop Development Consultants uses PayPal’s Invoicing facility to send invoices for product subscriptions and consulting hours. These invoices can be paid using a credit card (via PayPal), a PayPal account or via Bank Transfer/ACH.
This system has been working well since Winthrop Development Consultants took over distribution of its products in July 2018.
After the release of build 28 of GP Power Tools, we have had a couple of reports from customer sites where users are receiving a “Processes are currently being run …” dialog when logging into Microsoft Dynamics GP.

This build is the biggest ever, incorporating massive enhancements to almost every existing feature as well as adding a host of new features to all modules of GP Power Tools. There have also been many updates and fixes to improve performance and usability throughout the product.
This blog lists some of the major new features and enhancements. It is a long list, so go grab a cuppa/beverage and make yourself comfortable. To give you an idea of how much has been added, the user guide manual has grown from 425 pages in build 27 to 592 pages in build 28!
