Winthrop Development Consultants is fully committed to the continued support of Microsoft Dynamics GP and its ecosystem. Our ISV products are only compatible with Dynamics GP and have been created to solve pain points and missing features as requested by the GP community.
While Microsoft has stated that they will cease support for Dynamics GP in 2031, it is important to note that “End of Support” does not equate to “End of Life”. There is plenty of life left in the product and, with the support of the community, GP will live on well past the official end of support. A driving force in the community support will be the Knights of GP.
The Knights of GP is a growing, community-led initiative bringing Dynamics GP users, ISVs, consultants, and advocates together to shape what comes next — collaboratively, transparently, and on our terms.
Winthrop Development Consultants is proud to be among the earliest supporters of the Knights of GP. This initiative will help empower the community for whatever lies ahead, including maintaining compatibility and providing Dynamics GP support, new features and Payroll Tax updates beyond 2031.
Winthrop’s commitment is to continue support and development of our products (GP Power Tools, Batch Posting Service Toolkit, Visual Studio Integration Toolkit and Inventory Costing Per Site) for as long as we have customers using them.
To continue to support Visual Studio Integration Toolkit’s, from 2027, we will be introducing a small subscription fee for the base modules previously provided at no charge. This will go towards covering the costs of maintaining the software and providing registration and support services.
