I am pleased to announce that there will be GP Power Tools training offered by the GPUG Academy during the training days before User Group Summit 2019 in Orlando, Florida, USA.

We have previously run this training as two half day courses, but it worked best when students attended both the morning and afternoon sessions. So, this year we have decided to run the training as a single full day course on Monday 14^th October 2019.

We have lots of new functionality to cover with the releases of Build 26 and Build 27 of GP Power Tools this year.

The 2019 conference season starts soon (just a week to Johannesburg, South Africa), and it is time to take advantage of the Dexterity Bootcamp training that is being run in the week prior to User Group Summit 2019 in Orlando, Florida, USA.

Dexterity is the development environment that Microsoft Dynamics GP is built on and the best tool to use for any customisation to the user interface of the product. Knowledge of Dexterity is vital for anyone customising Dynamics GP even when using other languages such as C#, VB.Net and even VBA (Visual Basic for Application).

As mentioned yesterday, I am heading to Johannesburg, South Africa for the User Group World Tour 2019 conference and will be offering Dexterity training afterwards.

I will be heading to Johannesburg, South Africa soon for the User Group World Tour 2019 conference organised by Dynamic Communities.

After the conference I have been asked by a customer to run Dexterity Training for some of their staff and so this has been planned to run in the week following the conference. Additional, but limited room, is available at this training and so I am opening this up to any partner or customer who can attend.

This training is being offered at a special reduced price and I cannot guarantee that there will be another opportunity to receive this training in the region or at this price.

You might have seen my posts on Twitter and Facebook recently about my new ~~toy~~ mini laptop PC, the crowd funded GPD Pocket 2.

I have been burnt before with crowd funded projects (I supported 3 smartwatches and only one make it to production and it under-delivered 🙁 ), so I was wary of getting involved again. However, this was the second generation of the GPD Pocket and demo devices had already been delivered to a number of YouTube reviewers. I felt fairly safe to get involved with crowd funding again, as this would give me a discount and get the device earlier.
