Developing for Dynamics GP Blog is dead, long live the Developing for Dynamics GP Blog

David Meego - Click for blog homepageThis story starts back in July 2008 while I was a Microsoft employee attending some developer training in Fargo run by my friend Steve Gray (of 4Penny and DynDeveloper fame).

After seeing Steve post some tidbit of technical knowledge to his blog, I decided to create my own blog so that I could publish articles then reference these articles when responding to forum posts. This was how the Developing for Dynamics GP Blog started.

Yesterday, I confirmed that the blog is no longer available on Microsoft’s MSDN blog platform. The Developing for Dynamics GP Blog is dead and buried.

Even though the content had not been updated since I left Microsoft in October 2014, the Developing for Dynamics GP blog was still getting over 20,000 visits a month. So obviously there is value in the content which has now been lost…. or has it?

In February when I heard of the impending loss, the project of Saving the Developing for Dynamics GP blog was started and 4 weeks of manual work later it was completed when I announced that the Developing for Dynamics GP blog was saved.

So everyone chant together….

“Developing for Dynamics GP Blog is dead,
long live the Developing for Dynamics GP Blog”

Hope you find the content useful, it is available using the category link below:
