The final day of reIMAGINE 2015 combined breakfast with another Rapid Fire Partner Solution session. Then we had a Closing session which included a great keynote by one of the fathers of Dexterity (the language behind Dynamics GP), Tim Brookins.
Tuesday started again with breakfast in the Grand Ballroom at t Hilton Garden Inn. Mariano had some things to deal with so I headed over to the Microsoft Campus for the day’s sessions.
The conference officially starts today with a breakfast hosted at the Hilton Garden Inn. Mariano and I went down for breakfast and as fairly typical found ourselves chatting with many of the other attendees as well as catching up with the Microsoft people from the Fargo campus who had come over for the opening session.
So, now you know that I don’t have any photos of my own. But I do have some from friends at the conference, if you have any photos that include me or from the sessions that Mariano and I presented, please send them over.
I know reIMAGINE finished over a week ago, but today is the first day since the end of the conference that I have had a change to sit down and start writing about it. Before you ask, there is a reason I am start with the Post Conference article…..
Starting with a taxi ride at 3:00am Friday morning to the airport, my 31.5 hour journey to Fargo, North Dakota, USA for the reIMAGINE 2015 conference began.
This trip is the longest I have had in the US as I will be staying until the GPUG Summit 2015 conference in Reno.
At the end of this week on Friday, I will start my epic trip to the USA for the reIMAGINE 2015 and GPUG Summit 2015 conferences in Fargo, ND and Reno, NV respectively.
This trip has an itinerary with 10 flights and a road trip in it and is going to be great fun, but also very hard work.
With the release of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015, developers were provided with additional Service Based Architecture (SBA) functionality built into the application and development environment.
Service Based Architecture is primarily comprised of two features: Service Enabled Procedures and the .Net Interop.
This is a Public Service Announcement. A warning to everyone in the USA that I am coming to visit again and will be bringing the obligatory “stash” of Australia foods to inflict upon the unwary.
Then again, everything I bring with the exception of Vegemite usually goes down very well. 🙂
Convergence 2015 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA has come to an end and it is now time to post the final wrap up.
I really enjoyed the social and networking aspects of the conference and loved presenting. It is also great to hear feedback from customers and partners about how the work done in the community (forums, blogs, etc.) is appreciated.
