Following on from the article I posted in July: Introducing the Community Leader Zone, I am sad to announce that the project has been cancelled.
Last Friday, I received an email from the Technical Communities alias at Microsoft notifying me of the cancellation of the project. I have included the email below so you can see what it said.
Each year GPUG (Dynamics GP User Group) recognises three individuals from the Microsoft Dynamics GP community who go above and beyond to help others.
These individuals will be recognised as GPUG All Stars at the upcoming GPUG Summit in Nashville, TN, USA.
Please vote now… there are only 2.5 weeks left before the poll closes.
At the end of July, Terry Heley from Microsoft posted the System Requirements for the upcoming Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 release.
Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 is currently scheduled for release in the December 2017 timeframe.

Following on from my previous article about the sessions I am involved with at the Dynamics GP Tech Conference 2017 (being held on the 8th to 10th August 2017 at the Microsoft Campus in Fargo, ND, USA), I am pleased to announce that I will be presenting one more session. This one is all about how developers can use GP Power Tools to make their work simpler and faster.
Microsoft is working on a tool to help Community Leaders have successful meetings.
The Community Leader Zone helps match speakers, topics and sponsors to allow you to focus on leading. I think that all GPUG Chapter Leaders would find this tool a great resource for making their meetings even more successful.

If you have not heard already, the reIMAGINE conference has been rebadged and is now known as the “Dynamics GP Tech Conference“. The 2017 conference is being held on the 8th to 10th August 2017 at the Microsoft Campus in Fargo, ND, USA, the “home of Dynamics GP”.
As GPUG Summit 2017 approaches, the process of selecting the new GPUG All-Stars for 2017 has started.
Nominations for your GPUG All-Stars are open and waiting for you. You must complete the survey before 28th July when the survey closes and the next voting phase begins.

Another reason for the lack for articles recently is that I have been working on a hotfix for GP Power Tools.
Developers…. make sure you read the last bullet point in the list below. No more SDK woes.
A hotfix for GP Power Tools Build 22 was released on 19-Jun-2017. This release shows as Last Modified: 19-Jun-2017 on the About GP Power Tools window and the installer version is XX.00.0022.7.
