Community Summit 2024 in San Antonio, Texas, USA is fast approaching. David Musgrave from Winthrop Development Consultants will be running two extremely valuable training courses and now it is time to register.
The conference will be held on the 13th to 17th October 2024. There will be pre-conference training in the week before, from 7th to 11th October 2024, as well as Academy days before and after the conference itself.
In the week before the conference there is five day Dexterity Bootcamp training. Dexterity is the native development environment for Microsoft Dynamics GP and if you are planning to do any customization work with the product, this class is a must.
Take this opportunity to learn from David Musgrave and his 30 years of Dexterity Development experience, both as an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and as a Microsoft Employee.
The class will help developers understand the workings of GP and is worthwhile regardless of what development language or tools you end up using.
If you are looking to replacing any VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) now that it is “End of Life”, this training will help you work with Dexterity, or the scripting used in the GP Power Tools – Developer Tools module.
If you are a developer working with Visual Studio Tools for Microsoft Dynamics GP, this training will help you understand why GP works the way it does and how best to develop your code against it.

Also, on the first day (Sunday) of the Academy days there will be one day GP Power Tools workshop training. This training will help you understand all the amazing things that GP Power Tools can do for you as well as how best to deploy and configure the product and its modules.
If you are an existing GP Power Tools user or someone curious if it can help you (the answer is yes), please register for this workshop. If you want to learn about the new Form Control module in Build 31, which offers a “No Code/Low Code” customization solution for GP, make sure you attend.
